Ignorance - A Child's Cry Part 7 It had been hours since Loki had been dragged out of the throne room. Just how many hours it had been, he didn’t know, and at this point, didn’t care. He had been screaming and fighting the whole way back to his chambers, and even then he had banged on the door for hours after, all the while continuing to shout and scream. He didn’t care that ultimately it did him no good. He just wanted out. He needed out. He only fell silent when from complete exhaustion he collapsed on the floor between the door and bed. When he awoke a few hours later, he was still alone, though he could tell that someone had entered while he had been asleep. A tray of food had been placed on the table, as well as a bucket of ice and a think, sturdy cloth. Loki stood up and glanced down at his hand. It was badly bruised and slightly swollen, especially around his knuckles which had carried the brunt of the force as he’d hit Thor. Wincin
My Own Worst Enemy: Chap. 4 AlfredxReaderxLudwigIt was the first night that (F/N) had slept more than two hours before she needed to wake for work. Two weeks had passed since she had moved in with Ludwig and she was readjusting to life with the sweet, yet stern German. She awoke to the sound of her alarm blaring and flicked the alarm setting to off with her index finger. or was she? (F/N) shook Ludwig slightly as he s
Temperance - A Child's Cry Part 5A FEW DAYS LATER The hours of the night passed quickly and the first rays of the morning light began to show through the window. The warm light on his face made Loki open his eyes slowly. He had found peace in his sleep, which was not something he could usually find when awake. Sif’s words from the prior night still haunted him. He wondered how much this man Gallan knew of his niece. Not much, it would seem since he had not come for her, and Sif insisted she was the only one that knew Caedra was even related to this man. But Loki could never be careful enough. His bargain with Sif could be easily broken by either person. Even so, Loki couldn’t say he was completely ungrateful that she was giving him something of a chance to keep Caedra. He glanced down and smiled. Caedra lay curled up against his chest, her hair a tangled mess in her face. She breathed steadily and (more importantly) peacefully. Over the past week she’d had a few more night
